UpdraftPlus 1.9.42 Release

UpdraftPlus 1.9.42 is now available for all users. This release addresses critical issues found in the previous versions.

Bug fixes

This update fixes a significant bug from versions 1.9.40 and 1.9.41 that caused uploads of backups to remote storage to fail prematurely. This issue left backup sets stored only on your webserver.

Dashboard issue for older WordPress versions

For users of the paid versions of UpdraftPlus 1.9.40, this release resolves a problem that affected the dashboard page on older WordPress versions (3.1 – 3.5). If you are using one of these outdated versions, updating will restore proper functionality. Note that WordPress versions prior to 3.7 have known serious security vulnerabilities. We strongly recommend backing up your site and upgrading to a more recent version of WordPress to maintain security.
